    A4 built transmission needed

    Guys for a very mean street tranny, what should I do , build the 4l60 or get a TH350? looking for the best price though

    there are some good built ones for around $600, wich is worth it , th350's

    There are couple of places, even at jegs they have some for cheap. TCI transmissions are cheap also.

    i got a 4l60e that built it was out off a 2001 trans am that was wrecked it worked fine before it was wrecked im looking to trade it for a m6

    I have a 97 firebird w/auto, that has 113,000 miles. I plan on putting a donor LT1 in it. Could i use the stock tranny or should i have it rebuilt/upgraded?

    I am just planing on putting in a stock LT1 w/ headers and catback. I don't plan on dumping alot of money i don't have on upgrades since i am only sixteen.

    TH350's are cheap, but I would go 4L60 any day. I can't think of a reason to go 350, they break just as often as the 4L60 under heavy power. TH400 if you outpower the 4L60.
