    Brake Light (in dash) Question

Ok so my car has the Brake warning light on in the the dash... the one when you put the parking brake on. Also my brakes feel very firm on the pedal. Do the light and the firmness have any relation? Thanks in advance for the help.

It has slightly taller tires on it then what are supposed to be on it... it was that way when I got it. Other then that I have done nothing. Just out of curiosity what would that have to do with the brakes feeling almost too firm?

Is your hand brake all the way down. Try pulling it up a couple of times and letting it back down again. If it still doesnt go away you need to check the clamps around the wheel hub.

Yeah I have tried that. It is all the way down. Are you talking about on the rear where the parking brake is for the clamps on the wheel hub? Thanks for the help.

yeah sometimes the cable will stick. You may need to get some Lubricant so spray in there and get it to let loose. Worse case is get a new one~Cole~

Taller tires can cause it....its like changing gears and not calculating for it. My ABS always acted up when I would try and slow down really quickly (like at the end of a 1/4 race)...

No I'm at school so I don't have any access to any tools and jack and on top of that we just got 3" of snow I'm going home this weekend so I will look at it when I'm at work. I also need some new rotors as mine are warped pretty bad so I will just look at everything while I'm doing that.
