    Cylinder pressure

Well been having problems burning oil, just noticed it last year.. Good news is it's not the rings, valve guides appear to be the issue.. Had 185 PSI in all 8 cylinders. Was planning on heads next winter anyways so I'll just have to keep an eye on the oil this year and add as needed!

Well I guess that is better than rings being out. Though it would have been a good excuse to go ahead and change your pistons too and then turn up the spray.

Before you do all of that have you checked the PCV out. They are actually a pretty shitty system and can't keep up especially if the engine gets spun over 5K with any frequency. Just pull the hoses and check for oil. Just a thought.

Did all that last year, catch can, etc.. Had them check the intake when they installed the plate system to see if any oil was in there, bone dry.. I checked the catch can end of last season and it was dry as well so that doesn't appear to be the issue..

Then that would end any further suggestions from me since you are going to check the guides. Good luck.
