    my first cool picture

i was riding back home and took this picture while the car was moving and it turned out interesting, everything blured except for the house, why is that? this could be my first cool picture, what do you think?

the autofocus picked the house as the focal point. Then blurred the rest due to the movement. Cool shot

this is call "panning", it happens when u focus on something that is moving (or u r moving vice verca).

u finda lot of these kind of pictures in F1 races n similar stuff....it happens due to the slow shutter (or slower than ur the movement ... would effect on it)

this effect would work on ur side if u use it right.

    cheers

    Yea, its panning.

Learning how to control it correctly can make or break racing (what I mostly do) or sports photography too.
