It means you have 3.42 gears. You must have a M6 correct?
3.42 is correctmy '00 V6 Camaro, A4 had 3.42's

i think 342 are the best gear to have cuz u get top end and low end with them unlike 373 and 410 there all take off you have to have to seruios power to push those gears i got 232 in my car right now and i stop the other camaros and t/a that 373 and 410 with more bolt ons than i got they take me by 2 - 3 car on take of but i catch right back up and pass them
Ya you can notice the gear ratios say in NASCAR because the crew has to help push them out of the pits. This helps them see 200mph so easily.
