Window not opening or closing sometimes!!!HelP

The stupid drivers side window sometimes opens only the half and then it stops, and is impossible to close it, I have to wait up to 1 or 2 minutes for it to work again, why is that

I need to find solution ASAP, cold days are close

Fbodies are notorious for the window motor to go bad. I had the same problem with my TA. you gotta change the motor.

that sux. In my case the passenger side goes crazy, I didnt know is the motor because it works sometimes. I think there is a fix for that besides buying the motor, might be a wiring stuff, I dont remember, but I would like to know as well

I had the same problem about 5 months ago.
i've changed the motor and it is working fine

but i have a wiring problem with my other window (passenger side)

That might be a grounding problem. But the motors suck man.

Best place to get it is ebay honestly. Buying anything at the dealer is too much.

yeah they are pretty easy. i had to do one in my '00 V6 Camaro when i had it. The '96 i never had any issues with. They are pretty straigh forward

pull the door panel, plastic sheet behind that, 3-4 10mm bolts, unplug the 2 wire connector thing, and pull out the big hole in the door. pretty easy. Do the other if you have the $$$ to do it at the same time. Just for good measure. Make sure ya test it before you put it all back together. Don't want to get it apart and have it not work becuase of it being some other issue. Hope that helps ~Cole~

Just changed mine out.. Motors are $57 at autozone, lifetime gaurantee..

Same route i took! I replaced both of mine no less than a month ago. flawless operation and a good feeling knowing that if it rains on me i wont be gettin wet trying to get my windows up!

and buy some motors and put'em in.. i got that install guide mostly for us f-body guys who kill motors like noones business.

..hah that site would've been helpful for me! probably wouldve saved me from being retarded lost during the whole installation.
