    G.I.2000 Silverado reg.cab/stepside 4.8 5speed

hey guys i'm looking to upgrade to an extended cab silverado and have one i'm looking at so i'm gonna be selling mine. Right now i'm just GUAGING INTEREST. 2000 Silverado it has the 4.8 V8 with 5 speed Manual,
    Maintinance Done recently:
-New Plugs and Wires(actually being done this Thursday March,26th 2009)
-New rear brakes and ebrake shoes w/ new E-brake Cables
-All Fluids except manual Tranny fluid(Inc. rear diff, transfer case, and front diff, coolant, and oil)
-New belt and idlers(has belt squeek when cold that i can't ever find. once warmed up it goes away)
    -Switch to Synthetic Blend
    -K&N CAI
-Flowmaster single in Dual out muffler with stainless tips
    -Leather Roll up Tonneau Cover
    -Reciever Hitch and lighting plug
-Nose bug deflector and door vent shades
-Pioneer H/U and Ifiniti speakers in the door
-Aftermarket fogs on the bumper in front of the nose Bowtie

    The stuff it's equiped with:
    -Manual Windows
    -Manual Locks
    -5 Speed Manual Transmission
    -Manual 4x4 shift
    -Manual Mirrors
-A/C(ICE COLD) and a GREAT heater

    Options i added
-Dual Power/lumbar seats with flip down console seat/lid in charcoal
-Cruise Control(all factory equipement, VERY easy upgrade)
    -Factory Fog Lights
    -all accessories listed above

    The bad:
It does have a rebuilt title and was built by my fathers body shop with my help. Also somebody backed into the front bumper on the passengers side and bent it a little. The Clutch throwout bearing makes some noise when you back up and when you first start off from a stop. A few nicks and scratches here and there from stupid people parking too close. When i built the truck all parts are GM parts and the only things i bought used were the passenger door and fender and they were IN COLOR already. Both box sides were replace because they had cracks and instead of fixing them(easily could have been done) i spent the $400 each side and bought new. The tires aren't new but probably have 10k miles left in 'em. They are Michelin LTX M/S tires
Truck has 105k miles on it now(mostly highway) but will be making a trip to Atlanta Saturday and then up to Indy and back. It'll have probably around 110-111k miles on it when i actually get around to selling it. I'm kinda curious what ya guys think i can get for it. I'm thinking i'd ask about $6k but i'd need $5700 for it. I bought it 2 years ago w/ 74k miles and it's been a GREAT truck. I've driven it almost ALL highway miles across country and it's been an awesome truck. I get around 20-22mpg highway with it. It is Indigo Blue.~Cole~

These are the only pics i have of it right now but could get more if needed would make a good cheap truck for work. I get more people ask about IT then my Vette most people are suprised by the 5 speed and how much more rare the standard cab stepsides are.

P.S. i have a guy locally looking into it and wants to do a 408 with a 150 shot in it and turn it into a street truck. It'd be a good cheap project if you'd like that as it's cheap enough. If you just want a more rare truck it'd be perfect too. I would have NO issues or worries about hopping into this truck and taking it across country. i will be doing it saturday The plugs and wires will actually be changed Thursday. when i get down to Atlanta it will be getting an oil change(only has 1k on current) and then when i get back again and that's when i will be putting up for sale.

    When i bought it:

when we replaced the door and fender

    after the fix:

Trucks generally hold some good value, because of the title situation being rebuilt you are genreally looking at 5,500-6,000 or less not including the overall condition but given the condition of the truck and everything i'd say you could get 7k for it. Depending on the buyers market in minnesota

Nice thing is the winter time in MN:) 4x4's don't last long at that price i'm not expecting to get extra for the parts i've added, just a better selling point I think if i got around $6k for it i'd be good. I just need enough to pay off the amount i borrowed against the '03

The 5 speed alone would have me interested...But I don't want another truck, plus if I did I would get another Ford.

Good luck with it all though.
